Charles Greaves, is a pre-licensed Marriage and Family Therapist graduate student, currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy at Touro University Worldwide. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Writing and Legal Studies from Ithaca College, where he developed a foundational understanding of the role of communication and narrative in fostering interpersonal connection.
Charles utilizes an integrative, trauma-informed approach to therapy, incorporating evidence-based interventions while honoring the individual experiences and cultural contexts of each client. His clinical work is informed by a strong commitment to creating a collaborative, supportive, and nonjudgmental therapeutic environment. Prior to entering the mental health field, Charles worked extensively in the comedy industry. This background informs his therapeutic style, particularly in recognizing the therapeutic value of humor as a means of promoting resilience and emotional processing.
Originally from New York, Charles currently resides in the San Fernando Valley with his spouse and two children. His dedication to family life informs his clinical work with individuals, couples, and families, supporting clients in navigating relational dynamics and fostering emotional well-being.
