Established in 2006, and recently reorganized as a non-profit agency, the mission at West Valley Counseling Center in the San Fernando Valley is to provide high quality, affordable therapy and family counseling in a private practice setting. Supported by client fees, fundraising activities and direct donations, our goal is to meet the needs of those who cannot afford, or do not have access to, these services due to economic circumstances.
Providing affordable mental health care helps promote a healthy society. We strive to help individuals work through everyday challenges, life transitions, trauma and pain, ultimately finding greater understanding, acceptance, and love of themselves and others, thereby contributing to a healthier community.
