Blaise Hurr, is a pre‑licensed Social Worker graduate student,
currently pursuing a graduate degree in Clinical Social Work at Rutgers University.
Blaise holds a bachelor’s degree in Psychology from California
State University, Northridge. Drawing on years
of experience in educational settings with K–12 students and their families.
Blaise has developed a profound understanding of how personal
and social challenges shape identity and well‑being.
As a master's student, Blaise is expanding clinical training in
evidence‑based, trauma‑informed care, with a flexible approach that
incorporates Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), mindfulness-based
techniques, and strengths‑based practices. Blaise believes in honoring
each individual’s unique journey.
In the therapeutic space, Blaise sees the process as
collaborative—clients bring innate strengths and inner resources, and
Blaise’s role is to help uncover and build on these within a safe and
compassionate environment. Whether clients are navigating life
transitions, relationship challenges, or other complexities, Blaise is
committed to supporting them toward healing and empowerment.
Outside of practice, Blaise enjoys time with family, exploring local
coffee shops, and practicing yoga.
