
Michael Jones
Michael Jones, is a pre-licensed Marriage and Family Therapist graduate student currently, completing a Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy at Touro University. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from California State University, Northridge.
His professional background includes experience in coaching, business, and the creative arts. As a certified pickleball coach and former music and entertainment professional, he brings strong interpersonal skills and the ability to connect with individuals from diverse backgrounds. His work in community mental health has included mentorship, advocacy, and supporting undocumented individuals and families.
Culturally, he identifies as both Mexican and African American and is fluent in Spanish. His bicultural identity and experiences living in various parts of the U.S. inform his culturally responsive and inclusive clinical practice.
Clinically, he takes a collaborative, trauma-informed approach that centers empathy, trust, and respect for each client’s lived experience. He is particularly dedicated to working with African American and Latin American populations, offering a supportive space for individuals, couples, and families to explore growth and healing.
